Staff

Brian Hohl, PT, MPT, OCS
Clinical Director

Brian earned his Bachelor's degree in Health Science from California State University, Northridge in 1997 and his Master's degree in Physical Therapy the following year. Since that time Brian has worked extensively in outpatient Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine clinics. Brian is currently the Clinical Director of Progressive Physical Therapy-Tarzana. Over the course of his career Brian developed his skills in a variety of specialties not limited to care and recovery of sports injuries, post-operative care, chronic injury, spinal rehabilitation and re-training, balance dysfunction, and custom orthosis evaluation and fabrication. Brian has continued education and training in several technical areas including advanced joint mobilization, a variety of taping and support techniques, exercise and conditioning programs and injury prevention. Brian is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist as well as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists. He is also recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a master trainer and provider of continuing education for private trainers.

Colleen OConnell

Colleen O'Connell, PT, MPT
Physical Therapist

Colleen graduated the University of California, San Diego in 2009 where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology. She later earned a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge in 2012 and plans to obtain a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Colleen has clinical experience in both inpatient acute care settings as well as outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. Her clinical specialties include orthopedics, geriatric health, lymphedema, and pediatrics. Colleen is trained in lymphedema management using the Leduc method and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2012.

Jason Hermann, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Jason graduated California State University, Long Beach in 2012 where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Later, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge in 2015. Jason has a myriad of experience in outpatient orthopedics rehabilitation and prior experience working with other Progressive Physical Therapy clinics to hone his skills. Jason looks forward to furthering his expertise by attending Continuing Education classes and expanding his client base.

Anzika Tuliva, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Originally from Sherman Oaks, Anzika attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA for her Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Behavioral Science. Anzika briefly worked in Marine Mammal training working in Chicago, IL at the Shedd Aquarium and for the US Navy in San Diego for the National Marine Mammal Foundation. Her work with the Navy and veteran's sparked an interest in rehabilitation, leading Anzika to attend University of St Augustine in San Marcos, CA to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Anzika returned to Los Angeles to work in the outpatient setting with an interest in Sports Medicine and is a member of the America Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic and Sports Sections.

Andrea graduated from the California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Exercise Science in 2013. She has been with Progressive Physical Therapy-Tarzana for 3 years as both a Physical Therapy Aide and a Certified Personal Trainer. Andrea is currently applying to Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs so that she can pursue her interests in sports rehabilitation and orthopaedics.

Ron is a certified personal trainer with over 15 years of professional experience. He has a dynamic, humorous and hands on approach to fitness and exercise. He is an expert at tailoring workouts that will enable you to meet your fitness goals. Ron also believes that motivation is the key to nearly everything, especially when it comes to sports and fitness. He has proven this by breaking 5 Guinness World Records and he plans on breaking 5 more while in his 50's.
